Ep. 7: Squid Imposter Joins Monster Family While Miruru Plots Against Noelle

A squid impersonating Noelle enters the household, where the eccentric monster family readily accepts her despite her attempts to oust the real Noelle. Yuusuke, exhausted by the chaos, seeks privacy and is encouraged by a new maid to assert himself, though his efforts are constantly thwarted. The impostor manipulates Noelle into leaving to spare Yuusuke, who had sacrificed his dinner bowl for her. Meanwhile, Mikael advises Noelle to embrace her true self at a park. The maid is revealed to be Miruru in disguise, explaining Gabriel’s allergic reactions. Miruru and the squid conspired to remove Noelle, but the family’s warmth, including Papa buying a special bowl, causes the squid guilt. Miruru flees with the squid, prompting Papa and Gabriel to rescue her while Yuusuke searches for Noelle. Miruru attempts to harm the squid, but Noelle intervenes, with Yuusuke saving her from attack. They return home, where the squid departs to find a fiancé, complimenting Noelle and Yuusuke. The family later receives a cheerful letter from the squid with her new partner.
