The Mu encounter a large human army near Jupiter on their way to Terra, resulting in war and bloodshed. Grief-stricken Tony unleashes a massive psionic wave that destroys a significant portion of the human forces. Keith then decides to use the Mu captured on Artemisia as hostages, which further angers Tony. The conflict leads to lives lost on both sides as the situation escalates due to the psychological impact of the hostages and the devastating counterattack.
