Ren Elsie Jewelria, a childhood friend of Lala, arrives on Earth claiming he is the only man worthy of marrying her. He repeatedly tries to impress Lala by displaying his strength, speed, and appearance, but these efforts fail. After asking Rito for advice on being manly, Ren is struck by a frisbee and accidentally kisses him. Inspired by the movie Pocky, Ren trains relentlessly to win Lala's affection. He completes a 120-kilometer marathon and approaches Lala, who begins to praise his manliness. However, Ren sneezes, causing him to transform into Run, a female version of himself. This gender change occurs whenever Ren sneezes, revealing an inherent trait of his species that switches his body and mind between male and female states.
