Zastin informs Rito that marrying Lala will make him King of Deviluke and force him into interstellar war. Terrified, Rito tells Lala he will not marry her if she cannot cook. Lala returns to space but comes back to school the next day with ingredients from a living planet, causing chaos. She explains that her father has not fought in battles recently and reassures Rito that he can avoid war.
