Sakura reflects on her previous encounters with Inukai and his sister before she joined Tokko. Following a recent battle between Tokko and Gaki demons, Ranmaru gets an anonymous phone call from an unknown individual who claims to know the real causes of the Machida massacre from years ago. As Ranmaru begins to look into this new information, he is suddenly ambushed in a nearby park by a single Phantom demon. This attacker is identified specifically as the thirteenth Phantom demon, interrupting his investigation into the past events.
