Ep. 13: Ichigo confronts Quiche's self-replicating chimera while protecting Masaya from his advances.

After avoiding Masaya due to fears regarding her identity, Ichigo attempts to support him at a kendo match but fails to approach. A jealous Quiche attacks Masaya with a self-replicating chimera anima. Ichigo struggles to defeat the monster until Quiche demands she become his in exchange for sparing Masaya. Refusing, Ichigo dives into slime to grab Masaya's hand, triggering a glow that allows her to destroy the creature. Quiche retreats, and Masaya apologizes for calling her "Ichigo," noting she resembles someone he knew. He thanks her for her support and places a bell collar on her to prevent escape. Disappointed in Quiche's failures, Deep Blue dispatches two new aliens, Pie and Tart, to assist in destroying the Mew Mews.
