Keiichirou prepares a birthday cake for his ex-girlfriend Rei, a butterfly researcher, prompting the girls to investigate. After discovering their past relationship, the group attempts to reunite them to resolve lingering emotions. However, Rei’s spirit is stolen by Pie and Tart to create a chimera anima. With Keiichirou’s assistance, the group defeats the monster and restores her spirit. Ultimately, Rei and Keiichirou part ways for good, accepting their separation despite their continued connection through his annual cake tradition. This resolution allows both characters to move forward independently, ending the conflict surrounding their shared history and the supernatural threat that endangered Rei.
