Takemichi experiences pleasant memories with Hinata during their middle school era before abruptly returning to the present. Upon observing Mikey's current state, he expresses disbelief to Naoto that Mikey could have transformed the Tokyo Manji Gang into a malevolent organization. Takemichi desires to confront Mikey directly, yet Naoto is unaware of his whereabouts. As they search for a link to locate him, they discover that Akkun has risen to a high position within the Tokyo Manji Gang, complicating their efforts to reach Mikey.
