Ep. 11: Kenji Yamaguchi reflects on his elite status and evolving feelings for Shizuku amidst conflict with Haru.

Kenji views himself as elite and capable of attracting women, yet he gradually acknowledges his romantic interest in Shizuku. After accidentally hugging her to avoid a bicycle, he clashes with Haru, who strikes Kenji’s head. Kenji retaliates by hitting Shizuku with a can after dodging an attack. In class, Kenji suggests Shizuku and Haru complement each other, implying he would be a better partner due to his multitasking skills. Shizuku’s compliment makes him feel victorious. Later, Haru offers to walk with a lost Kenji. Kenji notes Haru’s change, but Haru insists only Shizuku has changed. Kenji leaves by taxi while Haru stays at the bus stop, reminiscing about his brother Yuzan. Haru’s family turmoil stemmed from him, leading Yuzan to wish he did not exist, explaining Haru’s avoidance. Shizuku arrives, and Haru hugs her, confessing his suffering from his strange affectionate methods that drive people away. Shizuku realizes her inability to understand him is the core issue.
