Ep. 12: Asako navigates year-end social dynamics and romantic confusion with friends

Asako visits batting cages to return an item to Sasayan, where she encounters harassment from a boy named Yana. After Sasayan apologizes, Asako reveals her distrust of boys due to peer pressure, though she is embarrassed by her feelings for Mitsuyoshi. Haru interrupts to mention a picnic arranged by Shizuki. Asako and Haru share taiyaki, where she notes her comfort around him because he likes Shizuku. As the year ends, Asako feels lonely until Shizuku invites her for a sleepover. Haru reassures her of his friendship, causing her to worry about their future dynamic. The group attends Hatsumoude, meeting Kenji, Chizuru, and Yuu. Asako and Chizuru discuss their feelings while hanging wishes. Later, on the roof, Asako and Mitsuyoshi discuss love versus friendship, leading to an accidental confession that leaves him speechless. Sasayan observes this and notes his plan backfired. In the epilogue, Sasayan waits at the shrine before midnight. Asako wakes up after sleeping with Haru and Shizuku and takes a photo of them.
