Hazuki and Lilith from Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito travel to the land of Kamitsumihara to locate Hazuki's lover, Hatsumi. During their quest, they are transported to an earlier period in the middle of the feudal era. In this past timeline, they encounter a young Nene alongside her mother, who holds the title of empress. The pair continues their search while navigating the historical setting and interacting with these figures from the past.
