Ep. 33: Hellbat uses Dorya insects to trap Star Saber, but Jean discovers the barrier's weakness to ordinary metal.

While exploring an alien world, Hellbat encounters the aggressive Dorya insects and breeds them to ambush Star Saber. The Decepticons unleash the swarm on their enemy, prompting the Autobots to mobilize when their commander goes silent. They locate Star Saber trapped behind an energy barrier that repels Cybertronian metal. The Brainmasters and Victory Leo discover that Jean's Illumina II mech can penetrate the barrier because it is made of ordinary metal. Although the Dorya ignore the Illumina II, Hellbat attacks the Brainmasters. Star Saber and Victory Leo realize the insects are vulnerable to intense cold. With his comrades trapped, Jean attacks the barrier generator alone, successfully destroying it. He frees Star Saber and Victory Leo, who combine into Victory Saber to drive off the Breast Force and engage Desaras. The Decepticon Emperor retreats with his defeated forces, and Jean is praised for his bravery.
