Ep. 5: Manatsu recruits Asuka as Cure Flamingo to defeat a Yaraneeda threat

Manatsu attempts to recruit third-year student Asuka Takizawa as the fourth Pretty Cure due to her physical strength, but Asuka declines. Manatsu, Sango, and Minori struggle to establish their club with limited room availability. Asuka arrives to assist with cleaning a packed space, where Laura highlights Asuka’s strengths, causing Asuka to gradually accept teamwork despite her initial skepticism. A Numeri summons a Yaraneeda from a garbage totem pole, which overpowers the three Cures and Laura. Alerted by the destruction, Asuka intervenes to protect her friends. This resolve triggers the fourth Tropical Pact, granting Asuka the power to transform into Cure Flamingo. The four Cures and Laura collaborate to defeat the Yaraneeda, with Cure Flamingo delivering the final blow. Following the battle, Asuka embraces teamwork, befriends the group, and officially joins their club.
