Syaoran begins to remember Seishirō, who taught him how to fight. He and Kurogane visit a tower filled with Oni to learn more about him. At the top, they discover Seishirō is not an Oni and that the town hall plans to eliminate him for interfering. They also learn the highest-level Oni takes human form and commands all others. Later, Seishirō appears at The Cat's Eye while only Fai and Sakura are present. He asks Fai if Kurogane and Syaoran live there. This revelation shifts the group's understanding of Seishirō's true nature and the hierarchy among the Oni, prompting further questions about his role and the threats he faces from local authorities.
