Ep. 13: Reiji worries about heart bracelets and team disqualification rules while Mutta writes a letter to a journalist.
Aired on June 24, 2012

Reiji becomes concerned about the heart monitoring bracelets worn by everyone and a rule stating that if one team member leaves, the entire team is disqualified. Following several physical and mental tasks, the teams must write a letter to persuade a journalist who is critical of space exploration. Mutta remembers a lecture by Soichi Noguchi attended with Hibito, which explained that viewing things from different perspectives leads to new solutions. After reflecting on this story, Mutta decides that the correct action is not to protest, but rather to demonstrate the third dimension offered by outer space. He believes this perspective will become clear once Hibito reaches the moon.
