Senri meets his great uncle and encounters a man in a blood bath claiming to be his deceased father, who asks for Senri's power. Seiren alerts Kaname, who returns to the academy. Yuki hallucinates blood in her bath after talking to Zero, who advises checking the Hunter's Association records. At headquarters, Yuki learns Kaien was a former vampire hunter. Zero meets the association president, who states he can avoid becoming a Level E vampire by drinking Pureblood blood or reversing the "Cursed Twins." Yuki finds her past book, which ignites. Later, Yuki sees a childhood hallucination and cries with Zero. Hanabusa confronts Kaname about his parents' murder, and Takuma meets his grandfather Asato Ichijo, who calls Senri his lord.
