Yuki suffers from hallucinations of blood and seeks answers about her past from Kaname. Meanwhile, Zero permits his twin brother Ichiru Kiryu to enroll in the Day Class, with Kaien hoping this will mend their fractured relationship. During a night patrol, Yuki mistakenly attacks Kaname due to her visions, but he comforts her and confesses his love. Zero confronts Kaname regarding Yuki's memories, prompting Kaname to force Zero to consume his blood to halt his transformation into a Level E vampire. Seeking reassurance, Kaname admits his fear that Yuki will despise him upon learning the truth. Yuki vows she could never hate him, leading Kaname to ask her to become his lover as proof of her devotion. Yuki accepts the proposal, surprising Zero.
