Kaname confronts Senri, realizing he is possessed by Rido Kuran, but Takuma prevents Kaname from attacking him. Senri attempts to seduce Ruka Souen, prompting Akatsuki and Hanabusa to intervene. Yuki begs Kaname for her memories and collapses from hallucinations. Kaien announces it is time to awaken Yuki, who wakes to see blood-covered walls. She instinctively tries to strangle Zero, who yields and claims she needs Kaname more. Kaname takes Yuki to the roof, bites her, and transfers his blood via a kiss. Zero arrives, mistakenly believing Kaname has turned Yuki into a vampire. Yuki clarifies that Kaname is her older brother, revealing she is also a Pureblood vampire.
