Ep. 2: Kei loves Ranka the shinma who grants immortality, but Miyu the vampire intervenes.

Kei struggles with academic failure and maternal pressure while falling for Ranka, a shinma capable of granting immortality. Simultaneously, Himiko investigates her missing classmate, suspecting shinma involvement after the girl turns into a doll. Miyu, a vampire bound to Larva, confronts the pair in a cathedral. She reveals her duty to banish shinma and notes her blood bond with Larva. Although Ranka transforms Kei into a doll-like shinma, she refuses to kill him because she loves him as a person, just as he loves her. Witnessing their mutual devotion, Miyu banishes both into the darkness. Himiko observes that while Miyu won the battle, she lost the confrontation because Kei chose Ranka’s love over Himiko’s.
