Himiko returns to Kamakura to verify a childhood dream, finding her old home replaced by a strange, frozen scene with her parents. Miyu appears, revealing her past: she turned thirteen, developed a blood craving, and killed a classmate before learning her mother is a guardian shinma and her father an immortal human. After rejecting her vampire nature and fleeing with her mother, they were captured by shinmas. Her parents were sealed as punishment, while Miyu was granted immortality and eternal youth to hunt rogue shinmas over centuries. Exhausted and dying of thirst, Miyu drank her mother’s blood, causing her collapse. After Miyu vanishes, Himiko recalls seeing Miyu at age five, looking identical to her current appearance.
