Ep. 3: Miyu and Himiko confront an armored samurai while rescuing Larva from shinma captors.

Miyu enlists Himiko to rescue Larva, a shinma who kidnapped him, in exchange for information. Himiko battles an armored samurai soul using a ritual spell. Miyu reveals Larva became her first blood source after biting him, leading to his punishment by other shinma who sealed his face and voice. Himiko searches for the samurai but is captured by a shinma named Lemures, who opposes Miyu having Larva. Miyu frees Himiko but is taken by the armored samurai. Larva breaks free to save Miyu, who then burns Lemures as punishment. Miyu discloses to the samurai that he was once human and sacrificed his wife for armor. Distraught, he raids the town and is killed by police. When Himiko questions why Miyu did not let the samurai believe he was a shinma, Miyu explains she cannot allow others to forget their humanity because she cannot do so herself.
