Aired on November 28, 1979

Andre suffers nightmares due to feeling neglected by Oscar’s rising status. Oscar intervenes by requesting a trial under the Jarjayes family name and accepts responsibility as Andre’s master. Fersen also attempts to take the blame, but Antoinette pleads with the King to spare everyone, attributing the accident to her own selfishness. Oscar survives her severe injuries and recovers.
