Ep. 1: Tsume and thieves encounter a white wolf in Freeze City, leading to conflict and Cheza's awakening.

In Freeze City, Tsume and his thieves discover a white wolf under a tree. The creature kills two thieves before Tsume lures it away, briefly revealing his own gray wolf form. They fight, and their blood scent awakens Cheza in her lab. Quent Yaiden later shoots the white wolf, who is taken to the police station. Detective Hubb Lebowski questions Quent about the animal, which Quent insists is a wolf despite claims of extinction for 200 years. Hubb has Cher examine the captive. Hige, a brown wolf, teases the imprisoned white wolf, who claims he only sought rest. After escaping, the white wolf adopts a human form and tells Hige he is heading to Paradise, introducing himself as Kiba.
