Ep. 3: Darcia Abducts Cheza While Hubb Investigates the Book of the Moon
Darcia recognizes Kiba and Hige as wolves and removes Cheza via airship. Quent shows Hubb claw marks from a prior encounter with Tsume and Toboe, explaining their human disguises and referencing the Book of the Moon, which claims humans originated from wolves. Hubb asks Cher about the book at the hospital, but she dismisses it as a fairy tale. Police records also lack information, though an officer mentions a gang leader fell off a walkway after being attacked by a large gray dog. Toboe, after arguing with Tsume, reunites with Kiba and Hige. Kiba tracks Tsume’s blood to his lair, where Toboe invites him to search for Paradise. The group evades pursuing police, jumps from the city wall into the wilderness, and leaves paw prints that Hubb and Quent later discover.
