Sorata hypothesizes that Subaru Sumeragi, leader of the Sumeragi clan, is another Dragon of Heaven. He and Arashi search for him while Subaru works as an onmyoji exorcising evil spirits. Subaru recalls his past with twin sister Hokuto Sumeragi and Seishirou. Seishirou killed Hokuto when she tried to stop him from killing Subaru, prompting Subaru’s years-long search. Subaru confronts Seishirou, who acknowledges him as a Dragon of Heaven but vanishes as an illusion. Sorata and Arashi locate Subaru, but he ignores them to finish exorcising a resurrected person.
