Yumiko Miura pressures Yui to leave her lunch group to join Yukino, causing tension when Yumiko reacts negatively to Yui’s attention shifting to Yukino. Yukino confronts Yumiko’s self-centeredness, and Yui explains that meeting Hachiman and Yukino helped her realize she can be her own person. Yumiko accepts this explanation. Later, Yoshiteru Zaimokuza visits the Service Club to request a review of his light novel. The members analyze his ostentatious personality before staying up all night to read his work. They deliver harsh critiques the next day, which Yoshiteru accepts sincerely, promising to have them review his future literary efforts.
