Ep. 12: High school girl invited by shadow friend Tomonari-kun and five boys
A high school student returns to her apartment complex and observes five young boys surrounding a black, shadow-like entity in the courtyard. The children treat this figure as their companion, Tomonari-kun, and invite the girl to join their play. She initially declines, promising to visit later, and subsequently uses her part-time job to avoid their next invitation. Upon returning home, she discovers the boys at her door, pointing to a black shadow on her ceiling as Tomonari-kun. Frightened, she ejects them, only to watch in terror as the shadow develops eyes and speaks, reminding her of her promise. The entity then pulls her into itself. The boys observe the event with apparent satisfaction before resuming their positions around two shadows in the courtyard.
