Ep. 13: Shouta witnesses Taichi transform into the Tormentor entity while observing his neighborhood house.

Elementary students Shouta and Taichi watch a local house for the Tormentor, a creature linked to a disappearance. They spot blindfolded residents and a contorting apparition. Taichi, shocked by the entity, leaves abruptly. The next day, Shouta visits Taichi’s home to return binoculars but is rebuffed by Taichi’s father, who claims Taichi is transferring to Tokyo. Through the door, Shouta sees Taichi writhing while others avoid eye contact. Later, Shouta sees what he thinks is Taichi in a window, but the view is empty. The father points in alarm. Shouta looks through the binoculars to see Taichi rushing at him as the Tormentor, ending with Shouta staring into the creature's eyes.
