A high school student hopes to attract a handsome senior baseball player but struggles to confess her feelings. She learns of an urban legend involving a coin locker in a train station basement, which claims that placing a photo of a loved one with a doll grants the wish. Choosing a locker marked with the player's jersey number, she finds a pale, old-fashioned doll holding a black box and places her photo inside. The next day, the photo is gone. When the baseball player appears, he reveals he is testing the legend but reacts with horror upon hearing about the doll. Before he can explain further, a dark shadow emerges from the locker, crushing his body and dragging him inside before slamming the door shut.
