Ep. 14: Yawara's Date is Full of Surveillance!
Yawara overeats due to depression from Shinnosuke, while friend Kyoko harbors interest in him. Shinnosuke approaches Yawara, unaware Jigoro, Sayaka, and Matsuda are watching. He insults Sayaka to please Yawara, but she overhears. The trio chases the couple to the ocean, where Shinnosuke praises Yawara’s judo and attempts a kiss. Yawara rejects him and flees before the pursuers attack. Shinnosuke claims he acts for Matsuda to recruit Yawara for a tournament. At home, Yawara meets the judo club, including Sudoh, while Hanazono begs on his knees for her coaching. Yawara refuses their selfish motives. Her mother advises her, noting Kojiro Inokuma shined in judo. Seeing the club kneeling in the rain, Yawara agrees to coach them again. Jigoro returns to find Yawara practicing alone.
