Ep. 13: Sayaka Challenges Yawara After Return from France with Hijacker Incident

Sayaka returns from France, complaining about airline food after a private jet breakdown, and defeats a gunman, impressing Shinnosuke. She publicly challenges Yawara again. Matsuda takes Yawara shopping and to Hayami, where they witness Sayaka training intensely with Shinnosuke, including running with steel sandals while carrying a tire. Shinnosuke helps Sayaka after she falls, which depresses Yawara, causing her to return home alone by bus. Matsuda, realizing his jealousy over Yawara’s feelings for Shinnosuke, becomes distracted and crashes his bike into the ocean. He then asks Shinnosuke to persuade Yawara to enter the tournament, a conversation overheard by Sayaka despite Shinnosuke’s attempt to keep it secret.
