Yawara receives a fortune predicting she will meet a handsome man within 24 hours. On the bus home, she encounters Mastuda, who claims to know her judo identity, but Shinnosuke intervenes and removes him. Shinnosuke takes Yawara to a cafe, charming her with compliments. Later, he is seen admiring himself while listening to voicemails from admirers. Meanwhile, Sayaka wins a women's judo tournament easily and declares her dissatisfaction, stating her true goal is to defeat Yawara. Yawara ignores this, focusing on perfecting beef Stroganoff for a future boyfriend. Shinnosuke, hired by Sayaka as her coach, suffers from severe stage fright and hides from reporters. He eventually discovers Yawara might be the "strong girl" Sayaka seeks and realizes she is the granddaughter of his idol, Jigoro Inokuma.
