Ep. 38: Yawara and Sayaka begin college while Jigoro chaperones and meets eccentric students

Yawara and Sayaka attend their respective colleges' opening ceremonies, with Jigoro accompanying Yawara to request the president's supervision. During the bus ride, Yawara meets the gloomy, super-tall student Itou Fujiko. Yawara considers joining various clubs, while Jigoro confuses Mitsuba cheerleaders for can-can dancers, teaching them "Yawara cheers" for the Barcelona Olympics before joining them in drinking and disco dancing. Later, Yawara, Itou, and others attend a Keihou university mixer, waiting for dates who turn out to be geeks, disappointing Itou's hopes for romance. Concerned about missing night practice, Yawara leaves and is surprised to find Jigoro covered in lipstick kisses from the cheerleaders across the street.
