Komasan works as a janitor at the toy company Dandai, where his accidental inspiration leads the president to create a popular toy line and mascot, resulting in Komasan's promotion. During Mother's Day, Nate's mother is possessed by the Yo-kai Cynake, causing her to react negatively to her gifts. Meanwhile, a strange belly dancing trend sweeps the city, which Nate and Whisper trace back to the Yo-kai Rockabelly. In a separate incident, Manjimutt anticipates his release from Alcatraz but is disappointed when the warden accidentally frees a different dog-like inmate, leaving Manjimutt to face Charlie's anger.
