Hime trains with Kyousuke in her dojo, remembering her grandmother, the former mayor, who passed the title to her. At Akina’s office, Hime begins raising a dog named Silver, feeding it ramen to ensure its well-being. When Akina reports a citizen’s concern that Hime prioritizes Silver over her mayoral responsibilities, she insists she can manage both tasks without issue. Later, Silver bites Akina in his office. Enraged, Hime strikes the dog, causing it to leave sadly despite Ao’s protests. After attacking one of the Seven Pillars, Silver is encountered by Enjin, who implants a youkai into him. This forces Hime to engage in combat. Once the youkai takes control of Silver’s body, Akina must use tuning, a process that releases both the dog’s and the youkai’s souls.
