Hime meets the Senior Council, discovering severe injuries linked to the Seven Pillars. Meanwhile, youkai lose control of their abilities, leading to Touka accidentally using oni powers to destroy a car and requiring hospitalization. Kyousuke confronts Akina, criticizing his lack of resolve to use tuning on Enjin. Ao attempts to visit Hime but finds her training intensely. Enjin recalls a Hiizumi clan member using tuning on him after he advocated for Sakurashin as a youkai-only city. Ao urges Akina to use tuning on Enjin despite the risk to Gin's soul. The next day, Akina and Hime meet the Senior Council, who order them to cut down the Seven Pillars.
