Enjin commands Akina to open the shrine entrance, prompting Hime to attack him. Kotoha and Ao engage Shinozuka, who successfully dodges Kotoha’s strikes. Enjin utilizes the telepathic abilities within Gin’s body to determine that Hime is reluctant to fight him seriously. Recognizing Hime’s inability to defeat Enjin, Yae prepares to intervene, but Mariabelle, Yuuhi’s assistant, states that Yuuhi has prohibited her interference. Enjin takes Hime hostage to compel Akina to open the entrance. Yae throws a sword into Enjin’s back but permits him to enter the shrine, where he begins forcing the tree to bloom. To halt this process, Hime employs the Dragon Spear to remove a portion of the tree.
