Kaiba admits defeat, calling Yugi the King of Games, while Atem reveals he anticipated this outcome. The duel continues with Atem using Swift Gaia The Fierce Knight to destroy Buster Blader. Yugi counters by summoning Summoned Skull and Curse of Dragon. Atem defends with Big Shield Gardna, then sacrifices half his Life Points to activate Dark Magic Curtain. This allows him to summon the Dark Magician, his most trusted creature, setting up the final confrontation between the two duelists.
