Yugi Muto's renowned deck is set for display at the Academy's Duel Museum. Syrus challenges Ra student Dimitri, known for copying opponents' decks, to win Jaden tickets for the event. Dimitri is upset by his loss to a Slifer but remains resolved to improve. That night, he steals Yugi's deck, believing it will secure his victory. Bastion, Jaden, Syrus, and Chumley search for him, leading Jaden into a duel to reclaim the cards. Dimitri mistakenly believes he is Yugi and gains the upper hand using the powerful deck.
