Crowler attempts to remove Jaden by enlisting Belowski’s assistance. While Jaden constructs his deck, he seeks solitude on the Academy roof due to frequent interruptions. There, he encounters Belowski, who uniquely perceives the spirit of Winged Kuriboh. Surprised by this ability, Jaden accepts a duel from Belowski, who desires to challenge someone capable of communicating with monster spirits. Belowski’s composed demeanor also positively influences Jaden’s friends. During the match, Jaden defeats Belowski’s Moke Moke monsters, securing victory. This outcome foils Crowler’s latest scheme to get rid of Jaden, leaving his plans thwarted once again.
