Chazz Redmond dominates the duel using Armed Dragon LV7, but Jaden Yuki turns the tide by combining Flame Wingman and Hero Kid to secure victory. Chazz is upset by his loss, while his brothers are angry. As the boat departs for North Academy, Chazz chooses to remain at Central Academy to finish his unfinished business. However, because he has been absent for three months, he is barred from returning to the Obelisk Blue dormitory. Consequently, he is assigned to live in the Slifer Red dorm alongside Jaden and Syrus, a situation that greatly displeases him.
