Vice-Chancellor Bonaparte seeks to demolish the Slifer dormitory, arguing that its weak students damage the school's reputation. Professor Crowler rejects this plan and instead arranges a duel between Chazz Princeton and Reggie, an Obelisk Blue student who despises weak duelists. The match stipulates that Chazz must win to regain his Obelisk Blue status. Chazz accepts the challenge and faces Reggie, who utilizes a Warrior-type deck. During the battle, Chazz recognizes his past arrogance and disdain for weaker opponents in Reggie. With assistance from Mecha-Ojama King, Chazz secures victory. Impressed by the affection the Slifer students show for him, Crowler allows Chazz to remain in the dorm. Subsequently, Chazz hires a construction crew to renovate the building according to his personal preferences.
