Syrus and Hassleberry resolve their dispute over who is Jaden's best friend through a duel, where the victor earns the title and the loser loses access to him. The match features Syrus' vehicles against Hassleberry's dinosaurs. Syrus utilizes the trap card Cyber Summon Blaster to trap Hassleberry in a loop of losing Life Points, securing the victory. Although Hassleberry possessed a card that would have allowed him to win, he intentionally lets Syrus triumph because he believes Syrus deserves the title more. Meanwhile, Jaden continues his search for the school.
