Concerned by Mistleteinn's power, Chizuru introduces the group to Lestion in her daydream. He explains that a unique gun fueled by dream demon agony and human despair is the only way to harm the enemy. Lestion departs, while Engi expresses faith in human dreams. Chizuru fears her memories with Isana will vanish if Lestion uses the weapon. After final exams, Iijima visits the café. Engi summons her daydream for an advantage, but Mistleteinn kidnaps Isana and summons a large tree. Engi attacks with her strongest move, yet Mistleteinn survives and injures her severely. Merry is also overpowered. Yumeji grabs Engi's sword and charges at Mistleteinn.
