Koenma informs Yusuke that he must secure a kiss from someone who cares about him within one day to fully restore his soul to his body. After failing to persuade Kuwabara and Atsuko, Yusuke successfully convinces Keiko to perform the act just before the deadline expires. Following his resurrection, Yusuke observes Kuwabara being threatened by a gang leader holding a pet cat hostage. After defeating the gang leader, Yusuke spots a demon, revealing that Koenma has additional plans for him now that he is alive again.
