After passing arcade-style tests measuring awareness, strength, and growth, only twenty participants remain. The next stage requires traversing a forest to reach the opposite side. During this challenge, Yusuke encounters and defeats Baldok the Bat Tamer, a vampire bat-like demon. This sequence highlights the intense competition and the specific dangers Yusuke must overcome to advance in the tournament organized by Koenma.
