A student's dream of joining his school's elite soccer team is shattered when an accident results in the loss of his leg. Entering high school for the second time, he accepts that his athletic ambitions are out of reach. While rushing through a train station, a prosthetist observes his artificial limb and his quick pace. Impressed, the prosthetist offers to create a new leg specifically engineered for speed, in exchange for the student's commitment to run.
