Yoshitoshi wants to create a positive ending for "The Little Mermaid" in his own animation, but struggles to find a voice actor for the role. He discovers a perfect voice from his classmate, Kohamo, who attends the same high school. Despite this, Kohamo does not speak and communicates using hand signals instead.
