Josou Shite Mendokusai Koto ni Natteru Nekura to Yankee no Ryou Kataomoi

A boy named Shuumei is too self-conscious to visit a maid cafe where the girl he likes, Hana, works. To avoid embarrassment, he disguises himself in feminine clothing as "Mei" to visit the cafe. Separately, an introverted otaku named Hanae works at the same cafe, where he feels more comfortable interacting with people while dressed in feminine attire. He develops a crush on a regular customer named Mei, unaware of her true identity. The two men unknowingly pursue each other while in disguise, leading to a series of comedic misunderstandings. As their deception unfolds, they begin to learn more about each other and themselves.
