A general from the Nanukoku Kingdom, known for aiding in the unification of Japan under Himiko, seeks to claim influence over the Later Han Dynasty in 184 AD. Traveling to Yushu, he encounters Liu Bei and his two sworn brothers, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Initially allied with them, he discovers Liu Bei's true nature and intervenes when Liu Bei attempts to kill a criminal. After decapitating Liu Bei, the general, Pei Yu, challenges the loyalty of Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Convinced by Pei Yu's actions and convictions, the two brothers choose to follow him instead. They form a new oath of brotherhood at Taoyuan. The narrative draws from the Three Kingdoms era, blending historical and fictional elements from that time.
